The AIA Membership Dues Payment Plan has returned

We're excited to share that the Membership Dues Payment Plan (formerly known as DIP) is back – refined, improved, and designed with member feedback in mind!

Last year, we made the decision to pause installments while we addressed technical limitations and reimagined a more sustainable solution. That investment of time has paid off. Collaborating closely with our IT team, we've built a stronger foundation that positions us to better serve members now and into the future.

The refreshed payment plan is now open for enrollment through April 30 and available to new, renewing, and rejoining members. Members can enroll online and pay via six monthly installments using the electronic check option, with payments processed on the last business day of each month. To make the transition smooth, we're waiving the service fee for the first year. The full program details and Terms & Conditions can be found here.

Members will be presented with the payment plan option at checkout for their 2026 renewal. We'll also be running targeted outreach campaigns to past enrollees of the legacy installment program to ensure they're aware this option has returned. Our goal is to welcome back those who may have let their membership lapse when installments were paused.

New Oregon Licensees

Passing the Architectural Registration Examination and becoming a licensed architect is a significant achievement. It signifies that an architect is skilled in and committed to protecting the health, safety and welfare of the public, and is a significant personal milestone for those that become licensed.

Congratulations to the following architects newly licensed in Oregon between July 1 and Sep 30, 2024.
